Scholarships for Master ASL!!

The Executive Board of the Wisconsin American Sign Language Teachers Association is pleased to offer 5 Master ASL! scholarships.

The scholarships provide financial assistance for Deaf and hard of hearing people preparing to become certified ASL Teachers.

The purpose of the scholarships is to recruit D/HH people of diverse backgrounds or living in rural areas in the state of Wisconsin to attend the “Master ASL!” curriculum training to be held August 10 – 13, 2009, in Brookfield , WI.

Who is Eligible?  Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults that live in Wisconsin.

Application: Go to Master ASL! scholarship for the form and instructions.

                                        Due by May 1st.

ASL Weekend, May 2-4, 2008

We have exciting workshop topics and entertainment planned for ASL Weekend at Lions Camp, Rosholt, WI.  There will be a storytelling competition and prizes.  For registration and presenter/workshop information go to http://www.aslweekend.org.
