UW-Eau Claire, with the cooperation of WisASLTA and MinnLoonASLTA, is offering a course for ASL Teachers by Kim Brown-Kurz, co-author of Learning Outcomes for ASL Levels 1-4, on Aug. 9-12.

  WisASLTA is the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Sign Language Teachers Association. The goals of our organization are:
  - To provide an effective avenue for ASL and Deaf Studies teachers to exchange information on language and culture instructional methods, materials and evaluation techniques.
  - To give ASL and Deaf Studies teachers opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills through local workshops.
  -To maintain and update evaluation and certification standards and procedures for ASL teachers.
