WisASLTA is the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Sign Language Teachers Association. The goals of our organization are:
- To provide an effective avenue for ASL and Deaf Studies teachers to exchange information on language and culture instructional methods, materials and evaluation techniques.
- To give ASL and Deaf Studies teachers opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills through local workshops.
-To maintain and update evaluation and certification standards and procedures for ASL teachers.
