Out of 11 member votes: 4 for 2009, 6 for 2011, and 1 NO. Thank you to all who responded!! WisASLTA will not bid for National ASLTA conference 2009.

Please submit comments and suggestions to president@wisaslta.org or share on the website by Friday, Sept. 14.
Bid proposals for 2009 are due Oct. 5.
If YES, how many of you are interested to serve on a Committee?
If there are enough members and outside organizations willing to help out, WisASLTA will submit the bid proposal.

  WisASLTA is the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Sign Language Teachers Association. The goals of our organization are:
  - To provide an effective avenue for ASL and Deaf Studies teachers to exchange information on language and culture instructional methods, materials and evaluation techniques.
  - To give ASL and Deaf Studies teachers opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills through local workshops.
  -To maintain and update evaluation and certification standards and procedures for ASL teachers.
